Card Binder Planner

Enter your card list (number, name, quantity) and this planner works out which page and pocket of the binder each card goes in. For the cards you do not have yet, print actual-size placeholders and slip them into the empty pockets, so the order stays intact while you collect. Your list is stored only in this browser.

1 — BINDER

2 — LAYOUT

Binder layout

A 9-pocket sheet is 3 across × 3 down; a 4-pocket sheet is 2 × 2. “By number” puts A-2 before A-10 (page breaks in the list are ignored in this order).

3 — CARD LIST

Card list

One card per line as number, name, qty (a number or a name alone is fine; a qty of 0 or blank means missing). A line with only --- starts the next card at the top of a new page.

Add a numbered range

Cards are added without names and as missing, starting on a new page. Digits 0 pads to the length of the last number.

4 — PAGES

5 — PRINT MISSING CARDS AT ACTUAL SIZE

Print settings

In the print dialog, set the scale to 100% (actual size); “fit to page” shrinks the cards. If the line at the bottom of the sheet measures 50 mm, the size is right. To get a PDF, choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. Each card shows its page and pocket number, so you can cut it out and slip it straight into the empty pocket.

How to Use

  1. Set up the binderCreate a binder for each set you collect, choose the pockets per sheet (across × down) and whether cards go on both sides.
  2. Enter the card listType one card per line as “number, name, qty” and press “Apply list”, or load a CSV from your spreadsheet. If you only know the numbers, “Add a numbered range” is quicker. Click a pocket in the page view to mark a card as owned or missing.
  3. Print the missing cardsPick the card size and paper, press “Print” and keep the scale at 100%. Slip the cut-outs into the empty pockets; when you get a card, just swap it in and the order stays intact.

About This Tool

Decide where every card goes before you fill the binder. Keeping a set in number order means leaving a pocket free for every card you do not have yet; otherwise each new card forces you to shift everything after it. This tool maps your list onto pages and pockets and gives each card a position such as “Page 3 · pocket 5 (sheet 2, front)”. For binders that hold cards on both sides, page 1 sits on the right and pages are shown as spreads.

Print only the cards you are missing, at actual size. Each placeholder shows the number, the name and the position in the binder — no card images are used. Sizes: standard (63 × 88 mm), small (59 × 86 mm) or any custom size. Cards are laid out on A4 or Letter in whichever orientation fits more (nine standard cards per A4 sheet).

No card data is included. The tool contains no names, card lists or images from any particular card game and fetches nothing from outside. Type your list in or load your own CSV. With headers such as “Number”, “Name” and “Qty” the columns can be in any order; without headers they are read as number, name, qty. Besides numbers, the qty column accepts marks such as “✓”, “x” or “yes” as owned. Files can be UTF-8 or Shift_JIS.

Your data stays in this browser. It is stored in the browser’s localStorage and never sent to a server, so it is not shared with other devices or browsers, and clearing browsing data (cookies and site data) removes it — use “Save as CSV” to keep a copy. Limits: 30 binders, 3,000 cards per binder. There are no accounts, shop integrations or price lookups.
