Type in the memo above, or add a checklist item, and the text you can carry away appears here.

The checklist comes out as Markdown task items — - [ ] and - [x] — so it pastes straight into a GitHub issue or a Notion page.

    How to Use

    1. Write aboveWrite on the left, type a task on the right and press Enter to add it. Everything is saved as you type and is still there when you come back to the page.
    2. Bookmark itBookmark this page and your notes are waiting the next time you open it. Storage is this browser only, so nothing carries over to another device.
    3. Take the text with you when you need to“Copy” and “Download .md” both hand you Markdown. Because the checklist uses the - [x] form, it renders as real checkboxes in an issue or a document.

    About This Tool

What it leaves out is the point. There is no rich text, no table editor, no code highlighting and no cloud sync. This is a screen you want open and usable instantly, and every feature added to it is time spent drawing before you can type. Sync, meanwhile, means your text travels through somebody's server. This extension protects two things — how fast the tab opens, and the fact that your text stays on your machine — and most feature requests break one of them.

Storage is your browser and nowhere else. What you write goes into localStorage on this device. It never reaches a server of ours or anyone else's — the code contains no networking at all. The flip side is that there is no sync and no backup across devices. Export anything you cannot afford to lose. Clearing your browsing data clears these notes too.

Dark mode follows your system setting. The Japanese and English versions are the same screen; switch from the top right.

No dependencies and no build step — one HTML file, one stylesheet and one script. No web fonts or analytics are loaded by the tool itself, so it keeps working offline.
