OGP Meta Tag Wizard

Enter the title, description, URL and image URL in three steps, preview the share card (OGP) as it appears on X and Facebook, and copy a full set of og: and twitter: meta tags. To check an existing page, paste its page source (the <head> part) and read the tags from it.

How to Use

  2. 2 URL & imageAdd the page URL and image URL, and check the X / Facebook card preview.
  3. 3 GenerateReview the required-item check, then copy the meta tags into your HTML <head>.

About This Tool

OGP (Open Graph Protocol) is the meta-tag spec that controls the card (title, description, image) shown when a URL is shared on social media or in chat apps. Missing tags badly hurt how shares look, so we check OGP as a standard pre-delivery QA item on every site we ship. The generate step shows, on the spot, whether those QA items — og:title, og:description and og:image — are set. Fetching a URL automatically isn't possible in the browser due to CORS, which is why checking an existing page uses the paste-the-source approach. Everything runs on your device.
