FIRST CH TOOLS / INSTAGRAM PUBLISHER / DATA DELETION
Data deletion
This page explains what data First CH Tools Publisher for Instagram (tools.first-ch.com/en/instagram/) handles and how to delete it. The app is operated by First CH LLC.
1 — Data we store
None. The access token received from Instagram, account data (username, profile picture, follower and post counts), the list of posts, insight values, and the media URL and caption you publish pass through our server only to be relayed between your browser and Instagram. They are not saved to our servers, databases or logs. The access token is kept only inside your browser tab (sessionStorage) and is gone when you close the tab. It expires one hour after it is issued. No cookies are used.
2 — How to disconnect
- Press "Disconnect" in the tool, or close the tab where the tool is open. This removes the access token from your browser.
- To also revoke the permission on Instagram, open "Settings and activity" → "Website permissions" → "Apps and websites" in the Instagram app or on the web and remove First CH Tools Publisher. After that, the tool can no longer access the account.
3 — Asking us to delete data
Because we do not store data from this tool, no request is normally needed. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may temporarily record connection data such as IP addresses in server logs. To request deletion or ask a question, email support@first-ch.com with the subject "Instagram Publisher data deletion". We will reply with the result within 30 days. Never send passwords or access tokens with your request.
